Marina Röhr takes over the management of Röhr and europlac s.r.o.

Since October 2018, Marina Röhr is the sole Managing Director of Röhr Holding as well as Röhr GmbH. At the end of 2018, the registration as Managing Director of europlac s.r.o. in Slovakia took place, which she head now together with the present Managing Director Andrea Bangová. In the course of the changes in the management, the Sales Manager Oliver Heine will receive procuration in early 2019. The trained wood merchant has been working for europlac for more than 20 years and is an outstanding expert in the industry. All other positions remain filled with proven employees. “The market requires constantly innovative solutions in the field of noble wood panel materials. For this purpose, we have already built up a team of competent, high-performance and innovative specialists in recent years. Of course, all of us miss my husband – as a person and as a mentor. But we are optimally positioned so that we can cope with all strategic, conceptual and operational tasks today and in the future“, stresses Marina Röhr.

NEW - COLORPLAC

COLORPLACis one of the latest, sustainable and innovative precious wood design products of europlac – a noble wood plate in Eccentric Birch – with a colored, finely varnished and also slightly transparent surface. In addition to the classic Birch Multiplex version as a carrier plate, all other carriersand formats available at europlac, such as chipboard, MDF or plywood panels, are also possible as FSC or PEFC certified. The COLORPLAC is inspired by the colors of the 4 elements, by natural tones and und the full range of spectral colors of light, enriched by the timeless elegance of gray and white tones. Hereby, diverse design and application possibilities open up - as diverse as the color palette itself. The surface, which is finely varnished on both sides, has extremely high resistance, is hygienic and easy to clean. Birch peeled veneer with the resource-saving structure of 0.6 mm thick formaldehyde-free glued cover layers is usually used as a precious wood surface. The core board is freely selectable depending on the application.

END GRAIN – the wood in cross section

In the europlac MANUFACTURE, our specialists with the greatest expertise and many years of experience process also very special and extraordinary precious woods: end grain in oak and smoked oak. Joined, for example, in a wild pattern (see photo), a unique and fascinating precious wood material is created. This exceptional rustic look of cross sawn end grain veneers is used in decorative interior design, wall coverings, table tops and wherever you want to set very special accents. Optionally, these panels (all carriers available at europlac are possible) can be delivered also as fixed dimensions and already pre-filled, with a finished UV-coated or a natural hard wax oiled surface.  The end grain can be pressed on a fleece as a variant “euroflex“, so that a simple further processing directly at the carpenter is possible. Of course, it is certified in FSC and PEFC.
