All types of wood at a glanceAt europlac you can get any type of wood you want at short notice.
We will be happy to cut according to your wishes.
Forest logs are carefully selected and finished with the highest skill, a process that ultimately has a positive impact on our lives. Today, europlac employees visit the forests and sawmills themselves before we buy the wood. They check that the wood is boiled with pure water before it is processed. Furthermore, sliced noblewoods or peeled veneers are carefully sorted by europlac’s specialists during grading and then processed to meet the requirements of European craftsmen.

Veneer packages of 12 sheets each, graded as the basis for all join types and for pattern matching. Packages with a pattern structure of up to 30 m possible.
All veneers are crown grade. Either natural or spliced crown cuts are possible.
Usually a spliced crown cut, obtained by splicing almost straight-grained veneers
All veneers are straight-grained
or rift grade
For all large premises, we recommend a personal visit to europlac, to allow us to assist you in choosing the right veneers. We'll do our very best to help you find the optimal solution, whatever the nature of your requirements!
The options are numerous. We would be happy to advise you on the
optimal join type for your application
Our veneers are normally "book matched", in other words there a "right" side and a "left" side, which is always alternate like the pages of a book and create a symmetrical pattern.
Veneers can also be "slip matched", in other words the same side is always "on top", creating a uniform pattern that is pleasing to the eye when the panels are stained. Rift veneers or veneers with an attractive, natural crown cut are suitable for slip matching.
Veneers from at least six different bundles are matched in a random sequence. This produces a wood plank effect similar to that of glued solid wood. Some types of wood are also treated with sap to emphasise the natural look. Random matched 8-15 cm, 8-10 Pac. 2/3 crown cut, 1/3 str. light figured.
Random matched 8-15 cm, 8-10 Pac., str. light figured.
Random matched 8-15 cm, 8-10 Pac. 2/3 str. light figured, 1/3 crown cut.
The veneer sheets are manually laid on the core board leaving an open groove. The coloured base panel surface is visible through the grooves.
Noblewood sheets of narrow lamellae with a width of approx. 25 mm are joined together to form a noblewood deck.
The veneer is applied to a coloured substrate. The CURVE joints are created by milling and the coloured substrate becomes visible.
Exclusive high-quality join methods such as “Herringbone”, “Mosaic”, “Diagonal” and Chevron. For end grain wood, circular and square cuts are possible.

Overview of formatsNatural noblewoods are also available on other board materials, e.g.: BIRKOPLEX®, FAGOPLEX® QUERCAPLEX®, SPA-PLEX®, G-PLEX®, LAMIFLEX®, EUROFLEX®, FIREPLAC, B -PLEX®LIGHT
Our formats offer you a wide selection of core boards and thicknesses that are tailored perfectly to your individual needs. Each format is characterised by specific properties that have been optimised for different applications – from particularly light and flexible to stable and load-bearing. Here you will find an overview of our available formats that give you the freedom to choose the ideal product for your project.
Overview of standard formatsDecisions on core board materials are always functional and economic decisions. Whether it is a reception hall, conference room, kindergarten or spa area – depending on where your real wood veneered product is to be used, different properties are required for the core board.
Pattern matching for up to 20 boards on request. All grades and patterns are available on one or both sides of the board. The back is available in “B quality” as standard, but all other qualities are available on request.
Pattern matching for up to 20 boards, depending on the type of wood. The veneers usually have a patterned structure.
Technical balance in wood type identical to visible side. No quality requirements.
Front quality where, depending on the type of wood, 2-6 panels match. Grade largely homogeneous in colour and texture.
Good basic quality with minor wood features.
Balance paper.
Veneers can have wood imperfections. There is no grading by colour and texture. Wood type identical to visible side.
Balance veneers with no quality requirements, obvious defects are allowed, wood type as selected by factory.
europlac produces a wide variety of fixed dimensions, furniture parts and wall coverings with extremely flexible and reliable drilling such as blind holes, T holes, hinge holes, hook holes and fitting holes as well as milling, slotting and CNC machining.
Furniture components are manufactured with high precision and using state-of-the-art machines to meet your requirements and wishes. Precise dimension information ensures optimal quality in the manufacture of the furniture component, including pattern matching.
In the area of acoustics, grid holes with different diameters (INOIS®-B; INOIS®-S) as well as micro perforation (INOIS®MICRO) are offered. The range of processing goes as far as the ready-to-assemble component, including acoustically effective fleece. In the manufacture of the component, final formatting or edge processing is also offered.
Edge bands or concealed edge bands, veneer edges, thick edges, solid wood edges, fibres, grooves, radius finished, varnished, ABS edges. All edge processing is possible up to a board thickness 60 mm.
We drill for example with a grid of 08/16/32 mm and various drill diameters. We cover the back of the board with acoustic fleece on request. Blind holes, T holes, hinge holes, hook holes and fitting holes according to your specifications are possible. We would be happy to advise you!
Milling, slotting and various CNC machining processes are offered. Our special veneer work such as “Herringbone” - “Diagonal”, “MOSAIKA®” and “Ship Deck” are also interesting.
We look forward to your enquiry!
